"Raster Euchronia" marks the culmination of my Raster-themed series of releases, each one drawing inspiration from my formative experiences in 90's video game, demo scene, and underground music culture. I look back on the 90's as a magical time, formed by experiences of attending demo parties, hanging out with friends and discovering ground-breaking art together, as well as spending weekends crafting pixel art and tracker music on my Atari ST machine.

The title 'Raster Euchronia' refers to the active and reconstructive nature of human memory, likened to the dynamic display of raster images on a CRT monitor. Much like the raw pixel values of a raster image gain depth and vibrancy when projected onto a monitor screen, each memory we retrieve is not a passive replay but an active reconstruction, enriched and reshaped through our present mindset. Over time, these cherished recollections are cast in an increasingly idealized light, akin to the unique glow of a CRT display. They begin to embody the notion of 'Euchronia'; a golden age or time of perfect harmony.
